Bio
BLÜECRÜE
BLÜECRÜE is a five piece alternative space unit hailing from the NYC warzone with two trigger happy horn players: they fuse influences from funk, indie, rock, ska, and salsa resulting in the dance oriented sound that your ears have been longing for. Founded at William Paterson University in 2024 by like-minded jazz students, BLÜECRÜE began as an way for the boys to play cover sets at bars in the city. The yearn to experiment led to a transformation from a piss poor party band to a first rate superior creative experience which has ascended from basements at college parties to NYC clubs to the greater tri state area. BLÜECRÜE offers a circus act of sorts - watch Nate "Tota" and Owen perform the great juggle between synths and saxes song after song, with the occasional sprinkle of percussion; Ryan and Jackson "Jackie B" in the vicious tug of war for the beacon of DDC, balancing the spotlight with competitive charm signaling for your desirability; and when you get tired of these antics, close your eyes and lose yourself to the fast fingers of the elated Ben "CROOHOO" SooHoo. You will never forget a BLÜECRÜE show. I promise.
